Away is the culmination of a dream of an uncle and his
nephew to provide a unique custom vacation idea for
travelers to the Virgin Islands.
Uncle Joel and Nephew Josh (Captain Josh) decided to operate
a charter boat business a few years ago, not long after Josh
moved to St. John with his longtime companion, and First
Mate of Cruzin Away, Jen. They decided on the right type of
vessel and the perfect way to provide you, the passenger,
with an unforgettable adventure in Paradise. After countless
hours studying, planning, researching and testing out boats,
the vessel that is known as Cruzin Away was identified
purchased, outfitted and shipped to the islands all for your
enjoyment.
Captain Josh (a United States Coast Guard Licensed Captain)
is a native of coastal Louisiana and lived in Alabama during
his High School and college years. He has extensive boating
experience in the waters of coastal Louisiana, the Gulf of
Mexico and the United States and British Virgin Islands. His
Uncle Joel is a native of Louisiana and he also has
extensive boating experience in Coastal Louisiana and the
Virgin Islands. First Mate Jen is a native of Alabama and
has spent a great deal of time on the water in the Virgin
Islands and is a perfect guide for you during your time
aboard Cruzin Away. |
